Instructional Rounds - Spring Institute

The Kamloops-Thompson School District, in conjunction with Dr. Sarah Fiarman and Dr. Stefanie Reinhold from Harvard University, is proud to offer the first British Columbia-based Instructional Rounds Institute in beautiful Kamloops, BC.

Using the philosophy of “learning the work by doing the work”, the Rounds model is a powerful set of tools designed to allow school practitioners to work together as a network to solve issues that are common in today’s classrooms. Participants will work directly with Harvard faculty members in learning sessions and visit multiple real-world British Columbia classrooms to learn and apply this impactful and effective approach to observing, analyzing, and improving instruction to their own learning situations.
